Delightful , friendly hotel we will go back to
The hotel was well situated for the town and lake. The facilities were good and food ( breakfast) was satisfactory-the staff were good-all the reception staff were helpful and smiling (very important)One little point- there was an Englishman (widow) on his own and I felt he was a little on his own--perhaps you could encourage single people to get together- their choice?
The location is perfect for walks around Garda, for shopping and visiting other towns around the lake and the hotel is very comfortable. The staff are friendly, helpful at all times and carry out their duties to a high standard. I think the important thing is that we feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. We do not have to worry about anything so can enjoy our holiday. Also, a big plus is the swimming pool which was one of the reasons that we booked a second holiday at Hotel Bisesti.
Its location is brilliant only 3 minutes from the lakeside. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped
Good location and friendly staff, free parking.
It could be nice to have free internet service or Wi-Fi.
Excellent location. Great pool. Friendly staff.
Strict allocation of tables for meals. We live in Barcelona and were meeting family on holiday from uk but were put in seperate dining room and had diffificulty getting table beside them. Reason for staying at hotel was seeing family and table allocation meant we were unable to sit with them at meal times. Extra cost for fridge was excessive.
Location and proximity to the canal. Free breakfast although basic included in the room cost.
Room was fairly basic (but clean), bathroom was very small and the door hit the sink when opened. There were problems with the lock on our room which must have been pre-existing but we had to keep going next door to be let into the room - very inconvenient.
The food at the hotel was really amazing. Such a delicious menu. It tasted like real italian home cooking. Super.
My friend and I had an amazing trip....wonderful location, so close to Lake Garda and the bus station, making travel very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, food good, room comfortable.....a great weekend
Nice location. Good breakfast buffet and lunch menu. Nice pool but very cold!
Very small room with no balcony with a leaking shower. Also it was a bit annoying that you were expected to pay for drinks separately when ordering them along with lunch and often led to confusion when the drinks were not added on at the end. Some staff could be abrupt, particularly with breakfast buffet seating - where you have to wait to be allocated. Which meant I could not sit with my friends and had to sit across the room alone! Not suited to someone travelling alone but who likes the company of friends!
We booked a standard room but requested a balcony and lake view, we received the only apartment in the hotel, situated on the top floor at the front of the hotel, with the biggest private sun terrace I have ever seen, there was a small nominal fee for the upgrade but it was nothing in comparison to the benefit. If you decide to stay at the Bisesti and I would recommend it try and get Apartment 8 (although it is called 8 it is the only apartment) you won't regret it. The hotel was in a good location close to the lake and restaurants, with a large car park at no additional cost.
Pool was nice, even though there were not enough sun beds due the high season.
The breakfast quality was low and they had extra price for eveything in the hotel.
Very nice hotel in a very convenient location - the town centre was a few minutes walk away and the hotel was right beside the bus station. One of the best features was the pool which was very clean and had some jacuzzi features. Rooms were adequate - clean, air conditioned but fairly small with basic furniture and probably didn't reflect the price we paid for the week as the hotel was expensive. We paid extra for a room with a balcony and a view and the balcony was very small. Overall Garda is a lovely town and we had a very relaxing week. Reception staff very friendly and organised an airport shuttle from the airport which was great.
Breakfast is basic and hotel was a little noisy. Barking dog and cleaner knocking at room door at 8.30 in the morning and people using the pool below our window after the pool closing time.
Perfect location from the main pedestrian shopping area and about 150 meters from the lakeshore. The hotel had a/c in most rooms which were controlled via computer from the main desk. Once turned on it worked great. This was important to us as through our years traveling in Europe, a/c doesn't necessarly meet the American standard of a/c, but this one did. The bathroom was clean and very spacious, which was surprising in Italy, but definitly a plus to finally take a shower without bumping the walls and ducking under the shower head.
The mandatory half board costs bundled into the price of the room was a little irritating since we never planned to stay at the hotel for dinner, lunch, etc. However, the one dinner we did have there was excellent and the breakfast was like most hotels, international with cereal, bread, cheese, yogurt, etc. Finally, I never understand why europeans call the room a double but just push two twins together. It worked fine, but it takes a little away from the romance for a couple.
I liked that I had a balcony and the view of the pool. The swim pool was excellent. The beautiful grounds were well cared for. It's location was perfect for walking into Garda and to be by the Lake. I also liked the breakfast on offer.
One thing that spoiled my visit to the hotel was that on the Monday early evening there was a party of German people in the swiming pool and I think they might have been drunk because they were very noisy and annoying the other guests.
